It is one of those trips that we cannot easily forget. First, we were not able to access our phones’ gps because we were in a different country (something we forgot to take into account) so we had to use an actual map and some directions that I printed out prior to our trip. The challenge did not stop there. Of course, everything in Canada is in metric system. We had to do conversions all the time we were there. On our way to Victoria we had to take a ferry (with our car!) and fell asleep inside the car. Next thing we know, everyone was gone and the security woke us up because we were the last one to disembark. We also got lost numerous times, but that was the fun part. 🙂
