You know those beautiful things and places that you see in pictures and you automatically put on your long list of To Go places? Yes, you saw that coming — this was on my loooong list!
Each spring Skagit Valley boasts acres of tulips in different colors that many visitors enjoy. Last spring, (yes, these were all taken from last year’s trip) I got to cross out one more thing from my list and I had to say it did not disappoint.
If you’re thinking of visiting this paradise on Earth, make sure you plan ahead. The tulips bloom according to their own schedule, which is within the dates of the festival. Skagit Tulip Festival is the most useful site to see what part of the valley is in full bloom. It also has information that will be really helpful for your trip.
