Five Places Where I’d Rather Spend My Summer

Five Places Where I’d Rather Spend My Summer

Summer is almost ending and as much as I can’t believe it like everyone else, I can almost feel the cold breeze of autumn. I am bummed that we did not get to travel anywhere this summer but it will be one that’s equally as memorable as the other ones. So before I truly bid summer goodbye, I’d love to share with you the top places I’d rather be.

GREECE

Wish I am back in Santorini and Mykonos, eating the best calamari and gyros that I ever had.

ITALY

Cinque Terre is my favorite Italian town (and tbh, one of my favorite places in the world), and what would I give just to be licking those gelatos from Il Porticciolo again.

THAILAND

Island hopping is one of my favorite experiences in Thailand and it’s safe to say I am missing it right now. That and the pad thai and curries!

DOMINICAN REPUBLIC

Two years later I still can’t believe this gem, with the bluest water, is in Dominican Republic. I can lounge here all day while sipping on some coconut water and pina colada.

PHILIPPINES

Let’s face it, summer or not, we always love going back home. It’s so tropical that you can enjoy the beach any time of the year (except monsoon season, I guess).

SPAIN

All I can think of are the paellas and tapas and just walking the pretty streets of Seville.

I can think of so many places that I’d rather be right now instead of being home for months, wearing pajamas all day. I just miss traveling so much just like everybody else. But i’m not talking about you, Europeans (who constantly show up on my Instagram feed, having fun right now). Major travel envy! I hope this pandemic really calm down soon and we can all travel again. What’s a travel blogger who can’t travel anyway?

Stay safe, guys!

xo,

Cherrie
