If you’ve been following my adventures for a while, you know that I’ve set some travel goals for 2018. I decided to look back and see how I did. Let’s check it out together!
- See the majestic falls of Havasupai – didn’t make it last year so this will probably carry over into the coming years till we get that slot!
- A magical morning in Cappadocia watching hot air balloons – I don’t even know where to begin. This experience was truly one of the most magical moments Johnrick and I ever had.
Ava Maxi Dress from Fortunate One. Shop maxi dresses here.
- Go to at least one European country – didn’t just go to one, but to four European countries in 2018. We went to Spain and Portugal as planned then I had a wonderful opportunity to go to England and Netherlands for a partnership with Residence Inn by Marriott.
Spain
Striped Midi Dress from Forever 21. Shop my top yellow midi dresses here.
Portugal
Grace Eyelet Tank and Midi Skirt from Vici Dolls. Shop eyelet dresses here.
England
Amsterdam
- Glamping in the Sahara Desert – didn’t make it to the Sahara Desert but we were able to go to Agafay Desert with Scarabeo Camp. I can’t recommend them enough for the best desert experience in Marrakesh if you are pressed in time to go to the Saharas.
Solana Top and Como pants from Faithfull the Brand. Click to shop top and pants.
- Twirl around every corner in Santorini – saving this for 2019, hopefully
- Stay at my own private villa in Bali – we did just that and more! Bali is one place I wouldn’t mind going back to. Don’t be surprised if you see us back in no time.
Crawford Off-the-shoulder top and Ivy Tie-front shorts from L*Space. Click to shop top and pants.
- Be a mermaid in Phuket – another one for 2019
- Explore Banff (and see Lake Louise when it is not frozen) – so sad I didn’t see a single dust of Banff last year. But it’s so high on my list I might just go spontaneously one of these days.
- Glamping in an airstream inside Joshua Tree National Park – we loved our glamping experience in Joshua Tree and I would really wanna go back with Luna next time.
- And another magical morning watching hot air balloons in Myanmar won’t hurt, right? – happening soon.
5 out of 10. Not bad at all. Considering we were able to go to other countries that have been high on my list for a while now like Jordan and Egypt. I will continue to carry over some items in the future until we’re able to check them off. Check out my 2019 goals and top travel destinations!
