Korean Eats

As our adventure in Seoul is very short, we only got to try few Korean foods. But all the foods that we had did not disappoint. Just like this Korean style egg bread (Gaeran Bbang) that we had in Myeongdong. It was freshly baked and flavored just right. It’s one of the street foods in Korea and sold on the street in cold weather.

We also had fried shrimps, served in a paper cup which is another popular menu sold along with fried calamari and fried baby crabs.

We did not only try street foods. We also went to a restaurant in Insa-dong where the interior looks like the inside of a hanok (traditional Korean house). Mind you, we ate here 5 minutes after eating bulgogi in another restaurant. And although we were still really full, the food was so good that we were still able to finish it.

And here are some more foods that we had in Seoul. 🙂

We asked a local where the best bulgogi is and she pointed us to a small restaurant around the corner of Insa-dong. It was a little bit fancier and more expensive but the foods hit the spot.
